How Our Refinishing Process Works
The appearance and performance of a refinished surface depend on careful preparation and professional application. Our process follows three main stages.
Step 1: Protecting the Bathroom
Drop cloths, masking materials and protective coverings are placed around the work area. Floors, walls, fixtures, the vanity and other nearby surfaces are protected to control overspray and keep the bathroom clean.
Step 2: Preparing and Repairing the Surface
The tub, sink or tile is cleaned to remove soap scum, oils, mineral deposits and surface residue. Repairable chips, scratches, rust and imperfections are addressed before the new finish is applied. Proper preparation helps the new coating bond and supports a smoother result.
Step 3: Applying and Curing the Finish
Our technicians evenly apply Bath Tub Man’s professional refinishing coating. The finish typically dries within approximately two to four hours, depending on the project and environmental conditions. The surface can usually be used again after about 24 hours.
